Default Forward Controls Advice

Recently got my first bike, 2007 XL1200L Low, which i thought would be a great first bike.

I'm 6'3" 200lbs
I can manage mid controls fine but i want to be more comfortable.
What options do i have for Extended forward controls since it looks like regular forwards end up before the pipe? Brand? Trying not to spend more than the HD ones. Completely new to the Harley experience and excited to learn and modify.

-Thanks!

Since the mids don't bother you i would just go ahead and keep them while adding highway pegs for comfort

I agree. I tried forward controls and didnt like them. Moved back to mids. I might look into adding highway pegs sometime.

linby bar will get you a nice looking place to stretch your legs out and still leave you the mids. i love my multibar by linby.

I used to ride a Sporty with mid controls and highway pegs. I always kept my feet on the highway pegs and used my heel to kick the shifter up, also used my heel for the brake.

Im 6'0 and 200LBS as well. my sportster has forwrds and i love them. Right now im riding my friends sportser with mids and cannot stand it. I need to look into extended forwrds as well. The reg ones just before the pipe still leave me wanting to stretch out. i might have to upgrade to a bigger bike as well
