Default Left gauge blinker light flickering?

Hey guys figured I would check the vast knowledge of the forum before i call the dealership. Monday night i got caught in a little rain on my way home nothing terrible didn't soak through my shoes or jacket. Wiped everything off when i made it home, parked in the garage. When i went to go for a ride yesterday starts up fine no codes or anything about 5 minutes in my gauge light for my left turn signal is flickering rapidly, not turning on my left front or rear light just the gauge light. If i turn on my left blinker both lights work correctly and the gauge blinks like usual. Any ideas? Going to see if it is projecting any codes when i get home. All stock lights on the 883 no other lighting issues prior to this at all. I was thinking maybe the bulb in the gauge it's burning out? Thanks for any ideas.

All my lights are workings, hazards, main headlight, left and right in both front and rear. I just pulled the codes from my bike as I just got home and I have a P0152 which should just be a rich rear O2 sensor, assuming this would have to do with the stage 1 map I have on, but no new air cleaner yet still the stock one , do have the exhaust however. I'm stumped the light is still flickering on start up. Not really affecting anything except it irritating me. Planning on moving my speedo next week probably should I just order new dummy gauges and give that a shot?

The autometer is at advanced auto parts right? Forget I'll go and double check the model number for it.

Typically when an electrical problem happens you look at recent events, in your case rain, it sounds like somewhere around your connections water seeped in I would unplug them and dry them off with a rag first then a hair dryer, reconnect and check them again. Also, the rain may not be the problem flickering lights usually mean a loose connection either way unplugging it and drying it and reconnecting it will solve that issue as well.

Agreed with the rain being the potential issue here as its the only recent thing that was any different. I was thinking about the ride home that night and I did hit a pot hole, not huge but I should have avoided it but I was wiping rain off my visor when it happened. So after I remembered that I figured hey something might be loose whatever lets check everything that you can think of. Pulled the seat unplugged and re-plugged everything just in case, checked my speedometer everything tight in there. Still flickering so I give up, called the dealership as I said its 2013 so its under warranty still and the lady in the service department said there wouldn't be any charge so long as it isn't because of some mod I've done myself which I haven't.

Only thing I'm slightly worried about now is the 1k service my buddy is about to graduate MMI and we he showed me how to do some stuff as we went through the maintenance guide that I didn't know, changed my own oil and all that basic stuff. Hopefully there isn't an issue there making it not under warranty. I guess we shall see on Wednesday.

Changing the oil(s) has nothing to do with an Electrical problem but if you are going to be performing future services it would be good advice for you to keep a running log of the Date, Miles (on the bike) and what you did as well as saving all receipts of purchases- oils and/or parts. Thatway if down the road if you have any motor problem that falls under the warrantee you can show what services were performed and when.. Good luck with your electric problem..

In case anyone was curious, as stupid as it sounds, the front left turn signal light bulb was slightly out maybe it had been knocked free from a bump in the road. Anyhow after putting it back in properly the blinking issue went away. Figured I would update this just in case anyone else runs into this issue. Thanks again for the advice!
