Sorry to be another one to post a thread of this kind, but I feel the need to celebrate!
I picked up my new 2013 iron on Saturday and loving it! Already put over 500km on it.
I've come from riding a Kawasaki zx6r to the iron, and much prefer it. Found I was always too generous with the ninja and preferred riding slowly and comfortably to take in the scenery rather than throw it around corners as fast as I could. Harley seemed like the best option for my needs.
Looking forward to being a part of the community and can't wait to start pulling the bike apart!
good hustle! i have a 2103 XL883N as well and just finished a 1250 kit and upgraded clutch. was a big job for someone like me who barely owns a wrench but i pulled it off. such a great bike. HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!!!

I know exactly what you're talking about. Those bikes beg to be blasted around everywhere at least mine did. Your new scoot can still hustle but you probably won't feel quite as aggressive on it as you did on the Ninja.
I saw a write up on slip ones and their DB levels vs HP on here not to long ago. I'd look into that some Europe is picky about the DB levels. Good looking Iron.
