Help with wheels please
Hey guys.
I'm lookin to get new wheels. My spokes on my nightster have rust on them and I'm having a hell of a time getting it to look purdy with steel wool. Too many hard to reach spots.
The iron wheels are interesting to me but I'm not completely sold on them yet.
Can you guys post pics of your wheels That would fit my 2010 Nightster?
The first pic below I got from the hd site. I like those wheels. Would they fit? If so, what are they and where can I get them?
The following pics are from a CL post here on island. He is asking 300 for them (stock nightster wheels) . No hubs but they are very clean and come with 50% to 60% tread tires. What would you pay?
I'm just wondering if I should get something unique since I'm spending money anyways.

Just shoot Chuck from Wanaryde Wheels a PM. He'll hook you up. Aluminum wheels are awesome, can't wait to have money for the RSD Diesel Black Ops or new Morris wheels. You'll drop loads of unsprung weight. And thus improve your power to weight ratio.

hi there dont use steel wool NOOOOOO! i have spokes too front and back , i use mothers chrome and mag polish i smear it on the spokes wrap the shop rag around the spoke pull back and forth and it cleans them up fast and easy i did both wheels yesterday as a matter of fact , it went fast and easy looks great, now i need to tackle the hubs , they are a little harder too get to , to clean but ill get them done.

Well then how do I get the rust off ?
Mothers polish alone isn't going to do it.
I have an offer from a guy here locally that will trade me front wheel for front wheel.
He has an iron front wheel.
Now I need to get this one cleaned up fast.
Ideas other than polish and steel wool?

did you try it ?? ill bet you didnt , mothers will clean off the rust and put a nice shine back on the spokes . its raining here but ill post some pics when i get a chance show you what mothers will do for rusty spokes.
