Default engine/clutch problem?

I recently purchased an '09 1200c. very nice shape and was completely serviced, new fluids all adjustments etc. I only have 400 miles or so since I bought it. Last night riding to a bike event it seemed taking off when I was accelerating from a stop and releasing the clutch lever I had a little "shudder" feel as the clutch was relased. Is this something I should be concerned about? Almost like I was not giving it enough gas and it lugged a little?

clutch maybe going... from like 1990+ sportsters and big twins have a TERRIBLE rivet together spring plate in the clutch... GET IT OUT OF THERE!!!! if it grenades it can ruin your clutch basket and that costs $$$$$ VS buying a new clutch... about $150 from energyone... (comes with a tool) and when your done put good fluid in the primary and adjust the clutch to factory specs... your clutch will thank you.

What speed are you at when this happens? Could be a simple case of letting it out too early and you get some lugging.

might try adjusting it. if you don't have a Harley service manual get one. adjustment is very simple.

Hey guys. this is just on take off that I feel it. I may be letting it out too quick. feels so different then my last bike so it is hard to judge. I will ride it some more and see if it is just me. the clutch was adjust prior to sale by a trusted dealer.
