Might just need a new stronger spring, I used Barnett on my 07 at 92000 miles and come to find out my plates were fine, but the stronger spring and new plates mine made a pleasant difference.

You might think about flushing Clutch master cylinder, that fluid is going on 4 years old. My 2015 RGS had a recall on clutch MC which was done last spring....don't know if your bike was in that recall ... goldie

Thanks for the comment, my bike did get the recall. Couldn't have been too significant, reading the work order it only took .9 hours... I did also flush the clutch master cylinder, that was pretty dirty as well.
Switched to Drag Specialties oil... did not change out the clutch, the clutch was still slipping after I did maintenance.
Was considering the SE clutch kit, but looking at the Energy One website, going to call them tomorrow.
Ohhh - oil wasn't in the first post - now I get it. I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed with Energy One. I run their clutch with an SE spring and a Mueller Power Clutch ball and ramp. Awesome holding power with not a lot of effort.
