...in respect to the denim colors...back when I first got interested in the Iron, it seemed that the demin black color was the choice; unfortunately, it was everyone elses choice too!! And after looking over a nice shiney new [bad pun I know, LOL] dull black one at the stealership I shook it off and found myself glancing over at a used 2010 Iron in Brilliant Denim Silver, with mids, V&H staggered short shots [what else], and 3k miles on it. Truth be told, I didn't like it at first! But the force was strong with this one and a week later I was back at the stealership, looking at the silver one again. The salesman informed me that he had another one in the back, an '09, with "some issues" but with less miles and forwards [I'm 6'-0"], so I took a looksie, and although it had rusted front and rear tins and a dented tank [which incidentally came off the 2010 Iron in the showroom] I negotiated a deal where I bought the bike for $6k and they were to give me brand new HD fenders and tank when they came in [ordered previously to replace the rusted/dented items]. Bang. Zoom. Deal-e-o!!
'Happy as a lark with the bike and yes, the silver bikes are rare, as I have not seen one single example on the road either before or since I purchased mine. I think the silver almost disappears against the black of the rest of the bike, making it look even lower than it already is. Post up some pics of yours when you get the chance!
Cheers man!!

I am thinking about white walls when I get new tires on the bike, I think the look still works with the silver color without going "all rockabilly" on the rest of the bike (flaked paint job, studded leather bags, whatever).
