forward controls
How am I "most definitely incorrect" when the parts you stated in your "how-to" are the exact parts I said he needed with the exception of your extended brackets?
The mounts used for mid controls are different, be it the angles and pin holes to hold the clevis at the right angle so your foot peg folds the correct way when needed. One clevis is different because it doesn't account for the extra width needed for the shifter assembly.

I was referring to your response of "nope" when the OP stated this, "I would like to know if theres any way I can use my mid controls and convert them to forward controls."
Yes there is a way. I am well aware of which parts work/need to be replaced and which do not. Example: it's not a matter of one clevis being different. Rather there is only one "stand alone" clevis on the mid controls. The angle of the pin holes is fine as is.
Anyways, Like I said right away...I am not trying to be rude at all. Rather I was trying to answer the OP's original question.
