Did anyone else have to extend the wire harness or was there enough slack?
It is infinitely adjustable, and there are some adjustments where the wire would need to be extended.
But for most, there is plenty of extra wire under the tank that can be re-routed. There is also usually extra wire in the headlight bucket itself that can be pulled out to give more reach.
Think I saw it on here somewhere but found this toilet bracket an made one. Going to paint black an either put some brass accents in the small holes or just file them off
I installed mine, made ahuge difference in the look. But I did have to extend my wires, and I used the short brackets.

That is unusual that you had to do that. Between the extra wire under the tank and in the bucket, you should not have had to do that. But I have seen HD not be really consistent in their wire lengths at times.
