Roland Sands Nostalgic headlight relocation bracket (crossbones)
I bought one of these RSD relocation brackets and I put it on last night. However, after assembly, the bracket appears shorter than it does in their ad. The acorn nut on the very back of the stock headlight looks to be dangerously close to the springer shock behind it...when the suspension compresses, the larger diameter part of the shock may come down and catch the acorn nut on the back of the headlight. This would be bad.
I am dissapointed. Has anyone else had this issue?
A call to RSD tech support isn't much help...they make you leave a message.

I'm not a welder and I don't want to have something that looks rinky-dink on my bike. Thats why I liked this piece...it's nicely welded and finish is nice.
