Default 2014 Sportsters Changes...
2014 Sportsters except Iron to have bigger calipers/rotors, ABS & new hand controls. Anyone have any pics yet?

They look no different other than rotor size, ABS module is hidden under the side cover (I think)

gonna be interesting to see the first few mod these over the the now current models....

also why not the iron? guess they want to keep one old school bike in the lineup???

The Sportster has a very efficient engine decel effect. I've brought my 883r from 65mph to a dead stop is less than 75 feet with engine decel and hard braking. I like ABS for winter driving in my cage but find it to be totally unnecessary on a two wheeler. Then again I ride a carbed Sportster without all the high tech electronics.

I suppose ABS would be nice. Any idea what it changing when it comes to hand controls?

ABS has its pros and cons. I like the idea of safety but as I understand the HD system, you cannot service the brakes or change wheel diameters, etc. I believe you must take it to the dealer for brake service.
