Need two part #s...
Posted it here because it is the only forum I regularly post in, and a lot of the other ones (like electrical) seem to be dead.
I have an older windshield I picked up off Craigslist for 50 bucks, with the old style detatch (not the clamps, but the ones that attach to the forks and then the windshield hooks on. One of them lost their rubber stopper, and now it is cold enough to put the shield back on. Anyone know what the part number is for one of those things?
Also, I somehow lost the switch to my heated gloves. Do generic switches with dc connectors at each end exist? If not, does anyone have the part number for that, or a link where I can grab one?

If you can find installation instructions online for the windshield, it will probably show the part number.
I don't know if you can buy a replacement switch for your gloves, but you can buy a thermostat for them.

Worst case scenario, try Rob's Used Harley Parts for a windshield/fork tube clamp assembly. He's in Herndon and been around for years (since before Al Gore invented the internet). Worth a call, any way.
