Fuel leak
There ARE two known (but relatively rare) causes for leaking fuel QD's
1. Disconnecting the QD for any reason, sometimes it is very difficult to pop it back into place without it leaking...even with a good o-ring AND clean seats. I experience this about one in every 200+ bikes. It can be totally snug against the stop, with a good o-ring and still leak. Solution, disconnect it and reconnect....sometimes it take 5,6, or 7 times til it seats "just right" and doesn't leak.
2. SOME, not all, some 48's & 72's with the 2.1 gallon tank that do a Coil/Key relo (with the ignition above the coil) experience the plastic ignition housing touching the fuel QD. Solution, cut a little portion of the plastic housing, or use a Flex-Six option for the ignition key relo.
