Default Install Instructions.

Yea this may already be on here but after searching for all of about 15min I could find nothing. I just received my forward controls minus instructions for my 01 sporty with stock exhaust. I haven't been able to find a good set of install instructions. It looks pretty cut and dry I just wanna make sure I don't miss the all important step or something like that. If anyone knows where I can get them please lemme know.

It's pretty straight forward, just a few bolts. You can always refer to the factory Service Manual for removal/installation instructions and torque values.

Amzing how companies can sell a product for good money and not even include a simple sheet of instructions. Just lazy business practice.

No, just a simple packing error.

I wouldn't remove the mid peg brake rod to master cylinder the way the instructions say. I took the rod loose from the brake pedal, then removed it from the master cylinder before removing the master cylinder attach bolts - don't have to worry about putting stress on the brake line that way. Kinda sucks having to remove the whole exhaust system, but I couldn't get the sprocket cover off without doing that. I'd get new exhaust gaskets, too, don't cost much.
