I've got the Uclear bluetooth helmet system on a full face helmet for the daily commute, works great,, If you must wear a half helmet then use good ear buds like Klipsh.. works good even at highway speeds,, problem is the buds can get uncomfortable after a while and can come loose being more trouble than they're worth..
I would think the full blown audio system is really only good for slow speeds and a half helmet.

Haven't tried UClear but I and most of my friends are using Sena systems bluetoothed to our iphones. Good for intercom and music. No ear buds, speakers in the helmet. Yanked out too many earbud wires taking off the helmet before taking out the buds in the "old" days. Haven't used my AirPods in the helmet because they get knocked out when I put it on. Too much hassle. The speakers are great as long as you take time to make sure they are exactly in front of your ear otherwise volume is sacrificed.
