Definately sounds like something is awry! Check the battery like elf suggests. If that's not the case then you're going to have to go over the entire electrical system/harness that you "moved" during the 1250 install...there's either a plug connection you missed, cross connected, or one that's not connected entirely. Do it systematically via the users manual electrical schematics [you have one, right?], and if electric isn't your thing then find someone or an indy shop locally who can help you troubleshoot it.
im guessin it wont work with all that off - compputer probly actin up ..
check the hand controls for pinched wires also im lost with this one .. hard to say
i could probly figure it out if i was there lol sorry bro, check all wires in the controls, sometimes they get pinched bad as drew said
check each wire with a meter ---
one meter probe to the frame as ground -- and then probe each wire end to see if it rings out - if it does then u know it shorted out and which one to reallllllllly look at
