Default Do cagers give you a break!

I noticed lately that when waiting to turn into traffic and it backs up where everbody that I am waiting on is in grid lock stoped, a few cagers always give me the go ahead and and let me cut in line, kinda nice.

Maybe there riders too, and they had to drive the cage that day!

This is interesting, but I think cagers are more conservative with bikes around. I agree with you. My experience is people as less respectful to me when I am driving my truck. The only thing I can think of is the cager is going to get the a$$ sued if they hit a bike. If they hit a car it tends to be minor.

I always make way for riders. I'd rather be behind them than trusting another moron back there.

Common courtesy if you ask me.

I find a lot of drivers are pretty good to bikes. I make a point of acknowledging even the slightest courtesy with a wave or a nod. I figure it pays forward to the next rider when the driver is in more of a hurry.

I find that when they see or HEAR me they will let me in most of the time. But there will always be those bitter cagers that won't budge. I always chuckle as I find a way around them. If I can't get by, I pass when the traffic starts moving. Always chuckling about the silly cagers...

I figure the cagers let me go by so they don't have to listen to my open pipes at the next red light.

Same here. I let bikes out too- why? - because I know that I'll be behind them paying attention, unlike some other morons we share the road with who are too busy on cell phones, PDA's, watching DVD's, and all the other happy horsecrap.

Most cagers are pretty cool. It's the cell moms that worry me.

most are cool? i dont get it..seems to me most of them ride too close up my a$$(everytime i ride)..i was once told that you need to look at all cagers as if they are out to run you over..thats the way you will keep guard of yourself..and i follow that policy..i was tailgated today on my way to work by some idiot and i had to put my hand in the air and tell him to back the f%$K off..
