Whats up!!! I'm looking for any tips or additional parts I may need to do my latest install on my 01 sportster. I'm gonna be doing 12" apes. I already have cable and wiring kit, handle bars, grips, and grip glue. If you guys have any tips or anything else I need to complete this please lemme know. Thank you!!!

if wiring the bars internal
get a vacum and string -

use vacum to suck string threw the bars then tape wires to string an pull threw
makes life a little more easy

If your running the wires internally then wait to extend them until after you run them through the bars. Also welding wire is great for fishing them through.

 

O yea gonna have it on ice and within arms reach throughout the install!!!

Throw down an old piece of carpet under the area you are working, you'll probably drop something, like the ferrules on the throttle cable end. They won't roll away (and get lost) if they hit carpet.
