I just purchased an advertised 61019 but it turns out it is probably a 61009. I tried to get a map from V&H but all they wanted me to do was to buy a new FP3. I want to use this 61009 on a 2011 FLHTK but V&H said it won't work. It will work on a 2010 FLHTK. What changed other than V&H going from a LED version to a LCD version? What map should be used it I can even use it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

IMO, when a mfg says their product doesn't work with a particular application, they MORE THAN LIKELY have discovered the issue from their testing and/or customer feedback.
That said maybe purchasing a serious tuning device and software will met a better running bike than anything else.
If that's not important there is a plethora of highly marketed self, auto, wiszbang products claimed to produce a great running bike by using their screwdriver, push buttons, and/or smartphone, tuning systems.
IMO, spend the money to do it right and you will never regret it.
