Heh... I have a similar dillema, DJ suggested a canned map that is close, but still not exactly right. The one the suggested for my dyna with 48h cams was M814-021.djm. Granted its for a dyna, but also for SE 211, 2:1 exhaust, KN air cleaner.
Dynojet has never claimed their maps wiill be good to go. They state, when pressed, to use their canned maps (pick one that seems to run best) to get to a qualified, experienced tuner who will properly recalibrate the fueling and timing based on proper measurement.
A shortcut will never produce the smooth, responsive power your mods will produce when the EFI has been calibrated.

My only difference is I have the V&H Dresser duals and Monster Ovals. The Bike had a stage 1 flash on the ECM from the previous owner. I did have it Dyno tuned and then added the Autotune. I too am a Fuel Moto fan as I bought the Andrews 48H Cam Kit and the Auto Tune from them. However I havent had much luck on tuning information from them.
Right now I am looking for the Target AFR chart for the auto tune as I am not sure where I should be at what RPM and Throttle positions. 13.2 or 13.7 maybe 13.5 at certain throttle and RPM levels. If I could get a base Tune for the bike I would get the ECM Flashed back to stock and give it another Go.. Also not sure if I should be adjusting ignition timing.
Glad your running right. I love the 48H cams, really pull great mid range ..
im in same situation 98 big bore freedom 2into1 pipe andrews 48 cams ported heads . my map is ok but far from correct sadly i didnt buy this setup from fuelmoto so i cant hit them up for help
Got a map back from Fuel Moto after sending a couple logs and my last Autotune revision.
Jaime worked his Magic and the bike is running great!
Still considering a Dyno because the dumber side of me wants to drop cash to mainly just see what my sheet looks...
Also curious on the before and after of Jamie’s map and a Dynotune Map. Even if I Dyno I’m still sending the map and some logs over for his opinion.
I’m a bit of a Fuel Moto fan... If I lived out there they would be my one stop shop!
I’m sorry to resurrect this thread. I still haven’t been granted permission for direct messaging for some reason!
23, would you be willing to share your pvt file for your 96 with the 48h? I have an almost identical set up to yours and have gone through the same process with fuelmoto on the tune. It’s worked great but I’m mostly curious to see the delta between our tunes and possibly tweak a couple cells based on the findings!
