Fl Crew and Irma

I was watching the news interviewing people that decided to stay put. They all came across as ill-informed idiots. I am sure there are legitimate reasons for not evacuating, although I can't think of any. Particularly since the governor set up a special hotline for those that need assistance to evacuate. But, whatever your decision, I wish you the best, and hope those that decided to stay don't put emergency responders at risk.
BTW...heavy wind and rain, might be survivable...but not the storm surge if you can't get above it.

We are in Sebring. I think we will do ok. Blue is in the garage covered up next to the jet ski which is gassed up and ready to ride, lol
Winds are light with gust to 20 mph currently. A little shower earlier today.
Here in Highlands county where I'm at the elevation is 100 feet give or take. A lot less than the 6,500 feet I lived at in Colorado.
So how about an update on weather from everyone's location.
We need t shirts letting people know the Florida Crew rode out the storm.
Can someone link up here riding the storm out by REO?
Thanks. I hope to make Biketoberfest

"We need t shirts letting people know the Florida Crew rode out the storm."
Now there is something we all should be thinking about this morning as this thing starts slamming into the keys and ripping our state apart.
I don't have a problem with anyone who because of health reasons, or economic reasons, couldn't jump in their ride and drive out of Florida. But to the idiots that can't even spell "storm surge" let alone what it means in relationship to where they live, good luck in your hunkering down plan. I just feel sorry for all the First Responders that will have to come and save your *** as this thing is getting over.
While hunkered down today, before the winds get over 100mph and your roof comes off and you still have time before starting to scream for your Momma, write your name and DOB on your forehead plus put a hotdog in each pocket (search dogs will find you first). Hey, but at least you will qualify for the tee shirt!
