Twice a year, spring and late summer/early fall depending on weather conditions.

Sme deal as the may flies out here in the central valley.

Bcs y'all folks get them there love buggies on yer bike on ocassion, ALL over the front 'n on u like this..........

the solution is easy......

You ride down the road and get them bugs right?

So just ride UP the road 'n u won't get them. See?

eg.: Ride your bike BACKWARDs.
e.g.: Instead of riding I-95 south and get them buggies, ride I-95 north instead?

Ok, now................
