They just issued a mandatory evacuation and curfew for all of Volusia County.

My friend living in Daytona Beach said...........YUPPERS........

If u stay, then no 911 service I understand.

They just had the sheriff, Chitwood on TV saying they are expecting the seawall and other areas of south Daytona and Port Orange, Beach side to collapse when it hits.

And now a Tornado warning for all night.

What a pisser...

Thank goodness it's just about over in the Tampa area. Rain has stopped, the skies are clearing and just some wind is left.

You folks down there do understand Florida is destined to become an island chain like the Bahama's, just a matter of when.

Wow, watching local TV seeing the damage, full rows of million dollar houses on the beach in south Daytona, Port Orange and New Srnyrna actually got washed away, some got so severely damage they will have to be demolished.

Terrible beach erosion.

It seems Daytona got the worst of it...
