Iv'e been itchin to get a mount for an american flag and my union flag on the bike. Since I dont have hard bags or a tourpack with the luggage rack, it seems I wouldn't want to fly a flag according to Harley.
I started looking in aftermarket catalogs and theyre around $50-120. That's just insane! I will say J&P (forum sponsor) was the best at $50 by pro pad. I did read in PGR that someone found a mount at a boaters supply house, they have the rings that clip into the holes in the flags for the boats so it may require some alterations. But I picked up two for $20 that inclused shipping!!
I looked under several boating web sites and found this one to be the most useful, here it is for those in the same predicament. http://www.boatersworld.com
