Hey Florida Crew / Bradenton???
Hey Florida Crew, my girl and I are going to be in Bradenton for the Memorial Day weekend and I'm wondering where we can find some good eats, a good watering hole, and which beach we should chill on. I appreciate your in-put.
Depends on your definition of a good beach. A really good beach will wash your bike for ya!
OK.. seriously though.. I'm not familiar with the beaches down that way. If it's the big touristy beaches you want, work your way over the Skyway Bridge and there's a nice long stretch of beaches in the St. Pete/Clearwater area. I prefer the quieter, less crowded ones, myself. Only problem is, there again, I'm not sure we're to find those in the Bradenton area.
JD is from that area... I'm sure he'll chime in when he gets a break from his studies...
I PM'ed you my phone # so call me and I will be happy to give you the local lowdown. I could write a book on all there is to do here and it would be helpful to know what you are looking for ie; Family beaches versus not so family beaches, Biker bars versus meat markets etc. Call me.
