Default Did it again......

took my bike in for the first service (1K), and came home with a new bike. No more Sporty, but this is it for a while or I might start having to pay child support and alimony, lol.

I have a great wife, I feel guilty but she says work hard and play hard. Payments are higher than I would have liked, but like Bert told me today, how much would you end up spending making the sporty work for me and the wife, guy had a point.

This is Phil & Bert's fault......

If I hadn't gone with Bert to pick up Phil's bike, I would have never sat on his Street Glide and would still think my Sportster is a nice ride, lol.

Will get pictures up later, but I have a brand new 23 mile on it, Road King Classic with ABS, cruise control, and 6 speed tranny. To say this rides better would be an understatement. And man what a difference a windshield makes, lol. Going out to put some miles on it, but this is a link to the website, mine is White Ice Pearl/Black Ice Pearl. The paint changes color and has flakes in it:

Congrats again, Gabe.

And they don't call it a Road KING for nothing... You're going to love it.

Oh yes, and some of those ear to ear grins are in order.

I don't know if the Mrs. will be up for it, but I will definitely try and get the time off myself. Just took her for a spin it's nice not having the bike bottoming out on every bump in the road, lol.

Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks brother, couldn't resist, and couldn't see starting to drop the money I was going to into the Sportster, nothing against the Sporty, I do miss how nimble it is, but this is a better fit for me and the old lady, especially for my rear end.

I'll have her snap some pictures tomorrow.

FM, fastest guy I have seen that went from a 883 to CVO Ultra, you are on pace for a two month $100k transition.

The King is plenty nimble just not as fast through the twistys, especially on wet blacktop. Enjoy the miles buddy

Congrats, on the new ride. RK are nice bikes. After you get a few miles in on it you will wonder how you ever rode the sporty.
