Well, the job I left here on February 25th for that was in Rhode Island ended up being a bust. Got told Friday afternoon my services were no longer needed! People up there were too D@MN touchey-feeley! But, I kept my mouth shut and got the #ell out of there as soon as I could. Went from a 3-month contract to just 10 days! To say I'm pissed would be an understatement!
Just got home a few hours ago after leaving up there around 7:30 Saturday morning. Traffic up there between Rhode Island and Virginia SUCKS! Glad I was in my truck and not on a bike! And the roads are horrendous - NEVER complain about Florida roads. I know I won't be anymore.
Saw at S#!T LOAD of bikers heading back north on I-95 both yesterday and today from Bike Week. PO'D I missed Bike Week for the B.S. up there, but there's always Biketoberfest again. Thinking of taking a trip up to Savannah just for S#its and Grins.
Got home and was able to start my bike without a problem. Was warned that it might not start since it sat for 2-weeks covered in my garage. But it fired right up. Gotta get it in for the 1K service this week. Left it with 986 miles on it. That's an average of about 330 mile a month I've put on it so far. But I'm gonna fix that really soon.
Anyway, anyone up here in North Florida, or the Crew in general, wanna ride let me know. I need to get my bike out on the road again and enjoy this weather. Looks like I'll be job hunting again for awhile again - this last time lasted 6-weeks! And since I get a Military Pension I am ineligible to collect Unemployment. Later...Bill

Welcome back to the land of the free, hope you learned your lesson now. That disclaimer is not needed, fk em if that cant handle the truth.
Thanks Jerry. OMG the taxes up there are NUTS! Gas was not much different from down here, though. Paid 3.68 a the Chevron right next to the HD in Savannah today. That was the highest I paid anywhere so far.
Yeah, I did. Glad to see YOU got back safe and sound from all the damage over in Asia.
It's back to square one starting tomorrow. Hopefully this time will be a lot quicker turn around getting something.
Took the bike out for about a half hour this afternoon. Felt good to be riding again.

Wanna meet there about 8:00? We can head out 121 north into Ga and log some miles. We will double down on Old Salt's mileage in no time!

Be afraid. Be very afraid. The last time I rode with those 2 it was overcast and cold but they were not deterred.
Glad to see you are back, but sad for the reasons. Oh the hell with that, just glad you are back. Another warning about riding with Seffer....the man is a camel. He can ride ALL day with just one small meal early in the day and getting water at fuel stops. BE PREPARED !!! LOL

I would rather think of Wade's BIKE as a 2 humped (v-twin) camel...
... and WADE would be the "Camel-Jockey"!!!
Maybe he will show up at the rally this year wearing a turban! Funny!
