Our typical trio of (now) Street Glides took an early start today to get some riding in. We headed to the southwest end of the Blue Ridge Mountains to an area they call Fort Mountain. Total round trip was a little less than 150 miles, or about 1/4 burger run for the Florida Crew. But I bet none of the Crew burger runs have 22 miles of non-stop twisties and hills. LOL
Nice and cool in the mountains, but plenty hot getting home again. Great day for only a few gallons of gas; here's some pics:
I have a few days off coming up (I hope).....I will punch Fort Mountain into the GPS.

Hey Chuck... let me know when you have plans set. You and Barb riding up? If this unemployment persists, I may have the ability to take you on some awesome local rides you guys will like.
Here's the little piece of map showing yesterday's romp from Ellijay over to Chatsworth:
That looks familiar!! Lol, glad you had a nice ride up the mountain and back. It rained up here from late morning until around 2:00 yesterday. I wanted to get out, but we were having a pretty intense storm. Hard rain, lightning and thunder, flooding streets....the whole works. Next time you're out this way, let me know. I'm a slow rider, but I'd like to meet up at least once. I might be able to get out on the bike these next couple weekends. And especially if some of the Crew is coming up this way, I'll definitely try to meet up.
