Funny how things come together. Spring Break came a little early this year so we will be leaving on Sunday March 18th. If the weather holds BigDawgBrian and I plan to head to eastern Oklahoma. If conditions are to formidable up that way we will head more south into Texas.
Ran to east Texas last year to see my kiddos. Good weather on the way out, but on the way back... Was trying to outrun a system that was comming through. Held up just shy of Memphis and watched local weather plottin' tornados all over where I'd just come from.
Will be makin' the run back out that way on the Road sofa myself, within the next couple of months.
Sounds like a nice trip Gator. If you get on the Natchez Trace in Mississippi be sure to pack your patience. Speed limit is 45 and The law is usually hanging out every half mile( ok, maybe that is an exaggeration, but they work it hard and are famous for chicken **** tickets like 47 in a 45) Defiantly like the sound of the Ozarks though. Beautiful country through there.

+1 on the speed limits. Like all roads controlled by the feds, the speeding fines start at $500+.
