Spanners coming to Flo-Rida
Well it looks like Mrs Spanners and I will be coming to Florida (Palm City Area) later in the year to stay with some friends.
We are wanting to hire a Harley and do a 4 day ride.
Any recommendations as to where to hire from and where to ride to?
Anyone up for a beer?

I do not know much about the Palm City area. I am on the shore of Lake Okeechobee. If you get down this way and see a bike that looks like yours, don't take it. It is mine.

Oh I see! Palm City is on the coast maybe 2 hours from me. Big Gator from Fort Pierce can sure help you out. I will see if I can contact him.

Treasure Coast Harley is the only place I am aware of to hire a Harley close to Palm City.

Hi folks, we will be booking flights this weekend and we will be in Florida from 6th -20th September. Looking at booking a Hog for 14th -17th unless the weather looks to be better mid-week. Wanna meet up with the Florida Crew when I have the bike under us :-) so PM me if anybody wants to arrange anything, rides, beers, beer rides, or general tomfoolery. Does FL have a helmet law and what is the drink/drive limit?....not intending to push my luck but wouldn't want to accidentally end up in the slammer for having just one drink as can happen in some countries.

Yes its .08 or something like that, a couple beers no prob. If I am around I will swing by and ride with ya. People are armed here so no drinking at all when armed. No helmet, weather should be nice by time you get here. You are a New Z so having a English (kind of) speaking visitor will be refreshing in this part of the country, you will be treated nice.
