Default Rolling Thunder 2013 - First Time!

I know that there is one sticky post about this event, but my plan is a little bit different, so here is my plan.

Leaving FL on 05/24 and arrive at Virginia (Hotel) on 05/25.
Stay there for 1 or 2 days, and head home on either 05/27 or 28.

If I can go, and it will be my first time in this event. I grew up through the VN War, so this will be an interesting experience.
Let me know!
Nick

You are right!
How can I miss it. Old age, I guess.
I have updated the new days, so no body can see.
Thanks!

Booked a room today for 4 days (05/25 - 05/28). 1.6 miles to Pentagon, Arlington, VA.
Anyone wants to join me, let me know. I am exciting to go to this event for the first time.

Less than 4 weeks, and I can't wait!
This can be a challenge for me. I hope the weather will be ok, but I have the feeling that I will have to ride in the rain.

Coming back from Arizona last year Jerry and I had rain half of Tennessee, and all of Alabama.Non stop, night and day. You get used to it, but definitely need to stay a lot more aware. As we crossed into Florida the sun came out as if it were welcoming us home.

Rain is just a fact of life. If you expect it, anticipate and plan well for it you're good.
Then when it does rain you aren't caught off guard and miserable! That way not much can ruin you're trip. And if it actually doesn't rain you're run will be better than expected!

It's all mental!
I know.........'cause I'm mental!!

Have a fun and safe ride!

Rain saves money on washing your clothes so you have more to spend on other more important stuff, like ammunition if you can find some. Have a safe and fun trip.

Lol... And saves time. No need to shower when you get to your room.
