Any good spots to hit in Islamorada? Spending a long wknd at the end of Sept, looking to chill & have a few cold ones and some fun.

Hog Heaven is a pretty cool place. BUT... The food is not the greatest. But I still like going there, the waitresses are very nice. And the view out back is SPECTACULAR. This pic was from when we did the HDForums Mascot tour. (pic taken out past the docks at Hog Heaven)

...And while not in Islamorada, "Alabama Jack's" is a popular hang-out. It's on Card Sound Road, just before the toll bridge (or after, if you're coming from Key Largo).
But anyway, it's worth the ride...

Not party places but nice.
Islamorada fish company about mile marker 82 to eat and has nice Bass Pro shop next door.
Robbies about mile marker 79 ? Large fish to hand feed.
September has a weekend that is Peterson's Key West Poker Run time for south Florida. Duval street in Key west is closed to cars but open to motorcycles and foot traffic (rather cool event).

Steve that was a good day out. We should put a ride to the Keys up on this forum.

I love Alabama Jacks but not for the food.

cool, thanks all. Flying into Ft Myers, driving over with my uncle, dragging his Jersey Speed Skiff over to tear up the bay a little bit & have a few cold ones...def check out the spots mentioned!
