MPG Calculation?
Yes, I could have used the search feature and I will bet this was covered before, but I didn't.
What's your preferred method of trying to figure out how many MPG's your scooter gets?

well over time I just look at what I use up versus what I drive distance wise. I tend to do this for my normal home-work-home-errands driving...since it involves a lot more stop and go, red lights and traffic. And then I do it for my touring/trip taking. Very different results and important to know the differences cause the refueling depends on it.
Also any modifications you make change the number, so the stock MPG does not apply anymore.

I find that my mileage improves if I hold the gas cap in my left hand while refueling. I use to put the cap on the gas pump, but that cost me too much mileage.
