Lots of motorcyclists here, far too many to spend time waving. One nice custom they have here though is when you pass a slower rider, you wave just to take the edge off that move.

I drive a Chevy truck and I don't feel the need to wave at every Chevy truck I meet on the road....I drive a Camaro....I drive a 300ZX.....I drive a GMC Jimmy....I dont wave at everyone who drives all those vehicles...however,I usually wave BACK at most any motorcyclist who waves first...or at least give them a nod....now,in my boat ,almost everyone waves at everyone....:>)

Well heck, if I lived in a place where I saw just one or two riders each time out, I'd wave too

I think it is cool to wave at other bikers whatever they ride, because all riders have something in common...

We each know a skill most cagers don't know, will either never know or learn later, and envy every time they see a rider.

Reasons I learned and started to ride myself.
1. Gas prices
2. Adrenaline
3. Freedom
4. Pleasure

You can never fall asleep on a bike, to much of a rush.

I normally wave at the Amish in their buggys because they seem to have that look in their eyes saying I wish I could ride one of them.
yea I forgot to way at a bird once too It was so pissed that it did a suicide mission into my knee . hey if it wasn't night time I would have saw him and waved.

I wave only after being waved to. I do not care what you are riding.
