i wave if someone else waves, don't care what kind of bike (no scooters 
) there are so many bikes down here i really don't wave at everyone, its just too much with all the bikes. sometimes i can't wave because i'm shifting, its just the way it goes, i always do when i can

I don't feel like reading al 14 pages. Can someone tell me if anything new or revolutionary was discussed concerning waiving protocol. I surely don't want to be the cause of the NEXT 14 page thread on waiving by missing the new rules.

What's with the Biker WAVE?
Today I went riding and this morning passed a group of 6-8 HD riders on touring bikes and not a one returned my friendly wave. Whats up with that? I have been riding for many years and generally wave to everyone (OK, not to crotch rockets because I generally despise them) but to all Cruiser riders on any brand, not just HD. Many guys on Gold Wings, Honda's you name it gladly wave too and usually they do it first. I think there is possibly a segment of HD guys who don't believe in it or only wave to other HD riders and maybe my new HD Road Glide doesn't look like the stereotypical Harley coming at them with the "shark nose" fairing and double headlight?
Anyway, I just wanted to throw this topic out to see what others here think?
(P.S. some of you guys are takin' this thread WAYYYYYY too serious
and it wasn't intended to be a serious gripe, it was intended for lighthearted conversation. I mean, who really cares seriously about this chit

like myself. I have one because of after rideing Harleys for 25 yrs I needed something to put alittle more excitement in my life . Yes I love my Harley for cruising down the highway and I ride it 90% of the time but they really suck at acceleration and handling on the curves. I call my Hayabusa my
pacemarker, 1 twist of the throttle and it set your heart really racing. It's cool to know that when riding it 99.5% of all other vehicles on the road will never keep up with to you. I'm not one of those wheelie pop'in over reving buttheads that seem as obnoxius as flies. I have heard of other harley riders have busa too for the same reason I do . They're a different breed of motorcycle and even though they may seem to have the looks of your typical crotch rocket . Their not
