When we ride 4wheelers we actually will put our hands on the pipe! but yep i do this all the time!!

Yep, on the sporty or the fourwheeler. However, I like the exhaust smell from my '72 Chevelle convertible better....There's just something about it's smell....could be the leaded gas that it still requires.

DOH!!! Of course I do. That's why I HAD to put the upswept pipes on, gettin' too "olt" to bend over.

And the 'fishtails' distribute the 'warm air' more evenly over the 'finnerz'. Sorta like the registers in your house.

It's also a good time to check to see if'n I have the carb set up right or too rich.

Whilst 'rolling', jus' reach down, and put hand on the pan for rear cylinder. Worx jus' 'ducky'.

When i rode in the rain I would put my gloves on the engine block to dry while I was off the bike. Works good as long as they are leather and nothing that will melt...
