As I said, I wouldn't draw unless I thought I could do it w/out being seen.
If you are carrying a weapon you better have the ability, the training, the confidence and the common sense when to use it! You better be ready to accept all responsibility for your actions. What would happen if one of your rounds would kill an inocent bystander are you going to man up to that and live with it? I know plenty of people who carry for personal protection but have little or no training in scenarios like this one at BK! I have the permit and I carry but the circumstances dictate what my actions are going to be and there is a fine line your walking in my opinion. Like TJ said about his grandfather, he made a choice at that moment confronted with the situation and made a decision. You can't step into someone elses shoes and say what if! I was trained if the weapon comes out you better be ready and able to use it with split second decision making where there is no turning back! I agree with JW... if the shooting starts I feel that I am protecting myself or my family but to initiate the shooting would probably not be the decision I would make for the cash in a register. They train bank personell to hand it over and not jepordize their life or the lives of customers who may be in the bank. Just my .02!!!

Nobody knows for sure what they would do unless they were there, but if a good guy had a gun, had a chance to use it and decided to hope for the best, then a lot of innocent folks died....
Shouldn't you be over on the serious poser, I mean serial poster board? J/K J/K

hehe!! I stray once in awhile... like my target practice!!! hehe!!!
Legally the guy was in the right to use it or not, whether he should have depends on how crowded it was there and the article doesn't say, so anything anyone says here is speculation and pi$$in in the wind, or maybe even a bunch of false bravado but no one here on an internet forum would do that now, would they.

Why no...that's practically unheard of, and completely unsubstantiated.
