Oh yea and for pussies that are too scared to ride.
I'd like to hear you say that to my buddy Pauls face.
2 tours in Nam, 2 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star that LBJ pinned on his chest.
He's 63 years old, still in better shape than most 30 year olds and has earned the right to do what he wants with his bike.
He trailers lots of places.........................

It sounds like you want someone to offend your buddy Paul..
To each their own. I don't know their situations as to why they trailered bikes and really don't care. More **** to think about than to worry about trivial crap like that.
Some of you seem to be mistaking what I mean by "biker". Notice the quotation marks? What I am talking about is not a biker (no quotation marks) who likes to ride and enjoys being around like minded people. Old leather jacket or HORROR new.
I was venting about the ones who call themselves "bikers" (as in the wannabe patch holders sense). These same people that call others yuppie riders. That are now trailering their bikes to an event (dorkfest) 250 miles away.
Wasn't trying to hurt anyone's little feelers. Just disgusted at some friends who were supposed to be riding out with us.
Do you all realize how much this sounds like Jr. High School crap?????? GTFU!
I have trailered because of the wife, otherwise I wouldn't......unless I felt like it.
Robotech gets my vote of "best post in thread"!
The problem begins if I were to apply that "expectation" to EVERYONE else that goes to the rally. Thus you're not "really plugged in" if you didn't ride there. That's a pretty narrow minded way of thinking. Honestly, and I believe the core of a "true" biker is, live and let live. I want to ride there? Cool... You want to trailer there then ride around? Also Cool... I like a lot of black on my bike, my girl likes a lot of chrome on her bike...good for me...good for her...doesn't make either of us more "true" or more "right" about what someone who rides "should" be. I don't care how you get there...you want to bitch about people who trailer their bikes to a local event...neither is wrong, right, or shouldn't be heard.
