Had my first close call today on my bike. Someone in a white SUV 'bout pulled out in front of me. Thought it'd scare me....but actually.....it kind'a made me mad! LOL!
I pretty much ride with the assumption that every driver won't see me. Once in a while it's like they don't. I do seem that I have a lot less problems with my Harley than with a crotch-rocket I used to ride.

Here in South Florida I ride assuming that everyone is out to kill me between the snow birds and the uninsured / unlicensed drivers out there it is the only way to survive

Good advice no matter where you live. Remember, all of those snowbirds spend the rest of thier time blindly cruising around up north here.

I always ride like everyone is trying to kill me LOL! My Dad told me that riding is like playing a constant chess game, and your always watching for the moves the other players are going to make.
I Have a bad habit of getting bike rage though, I really need to work on that.
A couple of weeks ago I was signaling to move into a lane that was opening up and a guy in a dodge ram who was on my left, put on his brakes, swept behind me a couple of inches from my rear tire and then into the lane i was about to move into. I gave him the WTF are you doing look and a few choice words and hand gesture. That pissed him off and I was behind him at a light where we were yelling at each other, I seriously though he was going to get out and we were gonna go to blows. But the Harley is very threatening, and he probably didn't want to get out and confront this 5'8" "Biker" LOL.......like i said I need to work on my Bike rage.
