I don't know WTH happened to me but I use the be the cheapest SOB on the planet when it came to harley's and gear. Always bought basket cases and built my bikes on the CHEAP and they looked it. Leather jackets from flea markets and ebay for $10. Cheapest boots I could find (that the company paid for with their meager funds). Now I'm riding an ultra limited, wearing Wesco boots and fixing to order a Langlitz jacket... I am now the guy who I used to shake my head in amazement at... something's wrong.

It's called maturity . Life's too short for cheap ****. You'll like the Langlitz. A real phukin' motor jacket. Now ya' just gotta spend 4 grand on a good pistol to put in the gun pocket............................................ ..........................
Well, I have come to the sober reality that what ever I buy today will most likely last the rest of my life... which at this age might not be that much longer! So I might as well get "the good stuff".
Be sure to tell them to put the gun pocket on the right side so you dont have to let go of the throttle to get your heater out!
I picked up a pre-owned/new Columbia (cowhide) jacket and had them re-build it to fit me for about 1/2 the $$$. It has L&R gun pockets now. The thing weighs about 12+ lbs after re-building.

Yep... with the new Langllitz I'll look like the typical "hobby biker". Brand new leathers, boots and shiney new EG. But there will be no denying my filthy faded smelly colors. They tell the tale.

What 1911 is that? Got myslef a Nighthawk. I'm young (30) but I find the good stuff works better and lasts longer so if you think about it, you're saving money. That's the way I explain it to my OL at least...
