Cant do gauge swap computer talks to them. Stupid tech making me stupider. Got my old gauges to fit. Still waiting on parts but i made it where i can ride. Maybe one day it will be finished. Want pics i can email if you want just ask. Coriemart@gmail.com

I'm interested in hearing how it turns out. Just today, I was wandering if anyone had tackled this project yet. Would be great to see some pics.

I guess anyone who actually custom made something, not just open the orange and black box, will know best...

I'm kind of confused as to why someone would do this if they are going to use the old style gauges and use an aftermarket headunit. The whole point of the new fairing/dash was to incorporate the new stuff.

I can understand the desire to build/fabricate but this one feels like we are missing something.

I'd like to see some pics.

Amazing the negativity of some of the people on here, hell it's his ride he can do what he wants to it. I was thinknig of just changing the outter fairing but don't know the demensions/mount points/etc. etc. between the years.

Pics or it didn't happen!

Just email him - I did and he sent me a picture of the fairing on his bike - it looks like he did it right. The picture didn't show the back so we'll have to trust him that he made the gauges fit. My guess is the reason to do all this work is to gain the air duct in the fairing. Joe
