See I like the idea of having that little MP3 player pocket so I don't have to have those bags on my windshield. I'd be interested in just the inner as a swap. I don't have no buffeting problem.
For the naysayers, your bike looks exactly like it did the day you drove it home right?

just the inner isn't going to work. whole fairing swap (inner and outer) is required. Completely different design.
Ok a few little things. I work at a harley stealership, they wanted to give me about 14 on my trade in with 14k. They did all work on it new tires etc. New ultra is 19. Wait, mine was 21. Ok fine what ever. No deals for employees. So after adding all extras im at 24. So now i owe 10 grand just so i can have the fairing.
As for u who like the fancy new radios. Remember keep them as dry as possible. Their navigation sucks. Apple must of helped with that.
Plus i went all out on the radio. And yes now it is one of those. Roll up your windows and you can still hear me.
The triple trees was an exact fit once u use needle nose pliers to remove the guide pins on the bottom.
To change gauges i would of had to invest another 2k. So no why do it.
My old gauges fit. Kept fuel and volt. Just used 15 gauge chrome trim ring and basket. Modified for sure.
I will be tearing it all down for paint this week. And for you real haters. I am going 83 gm blue. Working around harleys all day the colors are lazy.
Not bashing your mod decisions, but I don't get this one. batwing to sharknose or vice versa I totally understand why its done, but farely modern batwing to a new batwing don't make sense. I know its not my bike or money so my .2 cents don't matter. but why?
From the start there is not enough room for the radio. Its not wide enough. A grinder fixes this issue, since the radio must tilt at an angle. Navigation, well i think of it this way, if you need it you need 4 tires. How lazy have we all become that we cant read road signs or actually talk to locals to find our way

only answer for this is treat your bike like your life, be regular or go crazy, our bikes reflect our personalities
