Not to judge unless you have attempted the project. The earlier gauges fit well. The small gauges use the 2014 mounts and the larger gauges require a retainer bracket to be fabricated. Just a piece of plastic with two holes. Using the stock gauges will also utilize the original wiring. Very easy project that I will outline at a later time. The original poster sent me pictures as well. I am attaching some pics of mine. The last pic is using the 2014 gauge housing with the earlier gauge workings and a custom face.
I was gonna gut the gauges and attempt this swap, but at my cost of 475.00 i couldnt see myself doing that just to have it look like a brand new bike
,i have figured out how to install the 2014 fairing,without to much cost ecept for the speakers which i will soon have accompished, i have figured out the radio install also
