Clutch question
Hi, went up a very steep hill with my 2012 street glide today the hill was so steep and the terrain was so bad that I had to stop and hold the brake and accelerate a few times till I got up the hill. After I left my clutch lever would release the clutch almost when it was all the way out and on the highway when I would be doing 60mph and accelerate it would go like blank on me like if the clutch was going out. Bike has 4400 miles. Appreciate any input. Thanks

You probably slipped it so much, it overheated and took up the required play. You need to adjust it at the clutch and then make sure the cable freeplay is correct. Probably a good idea to change the primary oil also since it was probably at deep fry level. Clutch can take a lot of abuse if set correctly. I have been on a few steep hills that due to turns, I had to slip clutch to control speed. They can take it. In your area, you should probably set the back off to one complete turn and the free play at the upper limit of 3/16"-1/8.
