Check the shift shaft seal if it is just leaking and dripping. If it is throwing oil look at the main shaft seal which is to the rear of the shift seal. You can see both of them with a mirror or if you can borrow a scope with a camera they are easy to spot. To repair you will need to take off the inner primary.
I had leak that could not find until borrowed the camera scope from my brother in law and found it is short order. Harbor Freight sell them around $90. He had it to find a coolant lead in his boat.

Most common seep is from the chrome cover on the right side of the transmission, the two lower bolts that also hold an exhaust pipe support. Snug those and see what happens.

Primary fluid can't get to the right side of the transmission...
