needing diagnostic codes list?
side note: For what its worth I was an automotive tech for 20 years and have wondered for the last 15 years why bikes haven't gone to an OBD2 connector and easy diagnostic ability. The government actually did something smart in the early 90's and required domestic cars all go to a standard diagnostic connector so a similar scan tool could read codes at least (there was a lot more ot it then that but that's the jest of it) With the "On Board Diagnostic" 1 and 2 computers sped up and code gathering and even code numbers started to get inline with each other (not totally but a step in the right direction) and since bikes are emission emitting things just like cars I wonder why they didn't have bikes do it to? but maybe its for the better, even if it made it easier to work on I still don't want the F-N fed any closer to my sh*t then isn't needed or at all. paul
