Not tryin to be a smart *** but I tell my friends that ask me about internal handlebar wiring that the best thing concerning it is, when you have electrical problems(when not if) you will know EXACTLY where to look.
Definitely a learning experience. Couple things....I don't like the way my windshield fits. Kinda rubs on my bars. Probably go back in and pull them back slightly. Also....the panel that goes under the dash (the one that has the cruise switch and the accessory switch) doesnt fit quite right. I did some dremmeling to get it to fit around my 1.5" bars. But still don't like how its sitting. Overall....pretty decent piece of work.

Thanks again for everyone's help.
Take the rubber grommets out of the cover, I had to the same thing. I cot the cover trimmed out to fit just right and got a pieces of small hose cut, split ,and glued to where the old grommets went .

bars look awesome btw. good job!!
That's a pretty good idea. I think I'll try that. One thing I did screw up....I got the screw cross threaded in the "captive" nut inside the fairing and broke the molding that holds the nut. Now I have to reach inside the fairing with a wrench when I want to take that off.
Gary, I didn't chill in the crib, no. Little small for me. But, if you know anyone that wants to buy a crib and matching cradle....lemme know. My wife's bright idea to put all that **** together so she could take pics of them and sell them. That was six months ago. And they're still sitting in my garage!
