Just wondering if anybody has the Le Pera Bare Bones Solo seat WITH gel installed and ridden? I read a lot about how uncomfortable the seat is on longer rides without the gel, but I didn't see anything about the gel option?
I have the regular lepera barebones and it's not terrible on long trips. It would definitely not be my first choice but it would work in a jam. Sits you back quite a bit. On my 14 I would say it sat me back atleast 2" and down A LOT. 100% better looks wise though. Just make sure your rear fender isn't all scratched and worn from the stock seat.
I have a Corbin classic solo and love it very comfortable when you break it in and can be custom made also is leather . You might want to give them a look. I had a lepera daddy long legs ended up returning it didn't care for the seating position or the non leather seat material gel wasn't comfortable for me but I like a firmer seat. I hope this helps
