Steve @ Fullsac will likely also tell you the same thing I will say here. I don't think you're getting an adequate tune with the PCIII. There's only so much that can be done with that thing.

Yea, the bike shop said the same thing about that tuner. A new tuner may be in order as well.

was there a specific tuner that your Indy suggested over the PCIII?

He didn't necessarily recommend one but said that the PCII was kind of limited and that the PCV was a newer and better unit.

I agree but the PCV is also limited in what it can do, especially on a build such as yours. Instead of spending $ on a PC-V, I'd spend a few more $ and find a used Power Vision and get a license for it. PVs can be had for $100 - $150 used and another $200 for a license for it. So for $350 you have a tuning device that will carry you well into any future mods or new bikes.

Whoever built your motor and tuned it did a good job balancing all the factors in the package. Now that you're changing one, you're killing it off... If Fullsac or the map that ke5rdb sent you don't work, you may have to change the cam - that's a pretty radical one, and the motor seems to have been built to take full advantage of it. You'll give up maximum power but will wind up with a more enjoyable bike. 103ci will put a grin on your face regardless.

SE-258 Cam Kit*-Screamin’ EagleŽ for Twin Cam 88Ž-equipped models.
These cams have been designed exclusively for use in high compression, larger displacement (1550 or greater) applications. Peak power in the higher RPM ranges yet still pulls well in the lower ranges. Works well in conjunction with forged pistons, Twin Cam 88Ž Performance Heads, and open intake and exhaust.

Yep.. Keys words. "Open intake and exhaust". I'm kinda thinking the same thing. It's hella fast and strong at the higher rpms which is what it's designed to do. I'm thinking a cam change to put the power back to the mid low rpm would be more enjoyable and more useable.. Unless I was planning to race this bike. Not likely!
