Default Geezer glide on a diet.

Traded in my SG for a 2013 Ultra Limited last year and couldn't get use to the 50 lb tourpak so I just installed a 2014 style chopped tourpak. I was lucky they still made big blue pearl in 14. Weighs 30 lbs less. I like the look and I know there is a slightly different angle on the front of the box compared to my saddlebags, doesn't bother me. Thinking about some tail lights, not sure yet.

I do like the way it looks on your bike, but what can you really put in a chopped tourpak? I've not seen one in person so I really don't know. They seem pretty small, and I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess they're expensive.

Not a big fan of the chopped tour packs but to each his own. That being said I also don't like having a tour pack on the back when I don't need it. Thats why I bought the detach kit and an SG seat for the slimmed down look with less weight for around town cruzin'.

Kinda curious, where did the 50# weight come from?, as in source.

I also went with the king tour pak. The chopped looks better but if your going to use it might as well get the big one. I like that I can get 2 full faced helmets in there.

Default Tourpak weight

I stand corrected, it weighs 40 lbs. I stood on a scale holding the box is how I came up with that number. The chopped pak is big enough to hold 2 half helmets and jackets. I can also fit my suitcase that came with the bike in it, so its big enough for me.

I do like the look, but when we tour, we need all the storage space we can get.

I look of the chopped tour pack as well, although the storage capacity is greatly reduced...to each his own.

Default Chopped tour pak

I still have the king tour pak if I need it. I had a chopped on the street glide and it was big enough.
